There are many instances in our lives when we fight for what we know is right. We carry many burdens in this life that we struggle to bear each day. Do you find yourself wondering if you can continue? Are you also losing hope? The Bible has something to say about this.


You know, every day in our lives is like a big battle. We might not see the literal fighting, but we don’t realize that we’re fighting every day, not against people but against the evil. We can’t see it, but everyone feels it. We often feel weighed down by life, feeling scared and losing hope, but the Lord is the one who will lift us up in every challenge we face. 

Just like what my husband and I are going through with our business. We are really scared about how things are going because the venture we entered is super risky. We trusted someone we thought would help us, but we ended up getting scammed and robbed. After that, we got a new project manager, and he's okay, but he hasn't been able to focus on our project much because he's dealing with some heavy personal stuff. Our ongoing project lost money again, and my husband and I are really deep in debt.

I'm really scared and nervous and I don't know what to do. I cried so much, non-stop the whole day when I found out that we lost money again. My husband and I have never been in debt before, but now we're loaded with loans, and if this closes, we don't know where to get the money to pay it off. But if we keep going, we'll just dig ourselves deeper in debt. I'm so discouraged; honestly, I just want a way out. I'm praying while crying, telling the Lord that if it's possible, I wish He could take my husband and me out of this situation because it's so hard. 

But of course, I know we have to go through this. That we need to face it together with the Lord.

It is true that it is extremely difficult. I cannot focus, and for the whole day, I did nothing but cry. Even upon waking the next day, while I was praying, I continued to weep. It is hard, but I can endure because the Lord is with us. He is our defender and savior, so I should not be afraid or discouraged. A believer truly goes through many trials, but we must always remember that God is with us in every tear, every hardship, and burden we face. He will never abandon us, for His love is faithful and pure.

At present, the situation of the company remains the same. I do not know what will happen next, for only the Lord knows. He holds yesterday, today, and tomorrow, thus it is only right to place our trust in Him. Although I am unaware of what is to come, the one thing I distinctly know is that He is with us in our journey. He holds our hands and offers us a profound embrace.

Almighty God, King of Heaven, please hear our cries. We are filled with suffering and pain, as if the heavy emotions have no end. Help us to see Your light. Let us feel Your presence that will give us strength and resilience in the battles of life that we face. Lord, truly, we are nothing without You. Do not forsake us. Please continue to hold our hands and let us find unparalleled joy in Your presence. This is our plea and prayer, in the name of our beloved Jesus, Amen!
