Put Your Faith In God

Consider this verses on the Bible in Psalm 91: 11-12, it says that God will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.

It is difficult to see and appreciate God's goodness, though, when all we experience is suffering, loss, or sadness.  There were moments when I thought I was living my life inside bubbles.  Although I was able to perceive God's blessings, I was not adequately able to appreciate them.  Pain forces us to keep our heads down.  Faith encourages us to turn our heads up.

Recognizing your blessings is something else.  The power of tying each gift to a God who fervently loves you is considerably greater.  It will impact your thoughts and emotions, but it involves patience.  Think about the meal you'll be eating today, for example.  The foods you eat are up to you.  You won't go without food today.  Take a moment before you bite into it to express your gratitude to God for giving you this gift in this special way.  Develop the ability to associate each bite of food with a devoted father who meets your needs.  You will eventually learn to appreciate the little things in life.

Appreciating your benefits is more beneficial than whining about your struggles.  However, bringing all of your possessions before the Lord and recognizing His unique love for you will transform your life.  For what reason?  For every present you come across is a reminder to your heart that the Almighty knows you, loves you, appreciates you, and is going to provide you excellent care.

You will begin to believe, deep down, that you have a future with God as well as a past with Him when you educate your mind and eyes to seek for the gifts from His hand.  He can't possibly let you down.

Not only are you fortunate, but you are also generously, extensively, and deeply cared for.
