Have you ever experienced life repeatedly letting you down? When you thought everything was fine, only to suddenly find out that there was more to come? When it feels incredibly difficult yet the problems are not over for you? As if all uncertainties rest upon you, but you must face them nonetheless? In moments like these, the Bible provides words of comfort and assurance for us:

To be honest, it doesn’t show on us that my spouse and I are going through financial struggles. We have been facing one problem after another due to one wrong decision, and just when we feel like the problem is about to end, it turns out it’s not yet over. Because of what is happening to us, I realize even more how good the Lord is.

Why do I realize that? It's simple, because even though we’re struggling so much, He still doesn’t let us go hungry, He always provides. I can't even fully understand how we’re able to pay our workers. It's true that we’re in debt because of this, but somehow we’re still managing to pay.

It’s tough, chaotic, and painful what we’re going through, but God is always good. He always shows that He is bigger than our problems.

That we can make it because He’s with us and He never wanted us to be in trouble, as long as we keep trusting Him.

There are times in what we are experiencing now that can be disheartening. It's like I want to escape, I want to leave the situation, but my eagerness to know what the Lord's plan is, why this is happening to us, is still there. I continue to believe that He is doing something despite our pain, struggles and suffering. The Lord never promised anyone that everything would be easy, but as we walk the path towards Him, it is natural to feel that the struggles are beginning because we are moving towards God's greatness, and the enemy doesn’t want that. So, he will really do things to make us struggle, to lead us astray. And as the Bible says, God wants a better future for us, He has no bad plans. And that better future is the future where we are with Him.

Right now, to be honest, a good plan still seems unclear. The struggles we are facing are still difficult. The path we must walk is still steep to reach where we need to go, and there are many things we still need to understand. However, we must remember that God always has a good plan for us. Even if we cannot see it now, and even if we do not understand it yet, His good plan for us remains constant. It is the kind of experience where you look back on the challenges you are facing today and then realize that it was just that—recognizing that the reason for experiencing that difficulty is because this is what the Lord will bless you with in the future.

It is difficult, painful, and exhausting; that feeling is normal. It is hard, but it is even harder without the Lord in our lives. It is more frightening, more concerning. No matter how many unpleasant things may come our way, we should still focus on how we can be pleasing to the Lord despite everything we are going through. Because in the end, we will achieve the beautiful plans that the Lord has for us; we just need to trust in His Words.

If you're going through something right now, and you feel like everything's going wrong in your life, like the problems just never end, join me for a short prayer.

Lord God, our Father, thank You for the life You have given us. Thank You for the plans You have set for my life. Even though I'm having a tough time right now, I know that You see it all, and I also know that You won’t abandon me. Please give me hope and courage to face the challenges in our lives. Give me strength to trust You even more. I lift all of this up to You in the name of our Lord Jesus, Amen.
